Each coin features Merlen’s Royal Arms design on the reverse and the official coinage portrait of His Majesty King Charles III, designed by Martin Jennings, on the obverse, marking the first time these designs have appeared together on The Sovereign. These coins are also noteworthy as they are the last editions of The Sovereign to be struck in rose gold at The Royal Mint.
